President Obama came on campus to visit some new labs and make a speech at the NIH Main Hospital building.  Members staged hazmat equipment around campus and also deployed decon assets in predetermined locations.  Ambulance 751 was detailed to the Presidential Motorcade.  In all, the President needed three motorcades around campus.  First, when he arrived from the heliport at the Bethesda National Naval Hospital.  Next, from one entrance of Building 10 to another entrance of building 10.  This was because the Secret Service felt the Main Hospital was too large and too confusing to navigate from the inside.  They felt it would be easier and safer to just reload the motorcade and drive from one side of the hospital to the other.  And finally the motorcade returned the President to the helipad at Navy Med.
